This hat was excellent when I first got it. The look and style were exactly what I was looking for, and the embroidery looked just like I was hoping. After having the hat for a few weeks it faded. It's now more of a navy blue instead of the black it once was. On the other hand the orange embroidery on the back is still just as colorful as the day I got it.

I use Lids caps while playing golf. I have a big head and Lids is one of the few companies that sells oversized, fitted, caps. I don't like company logos. I buy the "blanks" and add my initials to the back of the cap.

I have been buying this same hat for over 5 years. I got dozens of them. The quality has dropped over the years. Those with the "Top of the World" label were great...good fit, nice weight. Now that they come with just the Lids label, the blend seems lighter, the wear out faster, the sizes are iffy. Case in point, my last order was for two 7-1/2 hats. Same size, but completely different fits. I wish I could find another fitted black hat with a curved bill, but they have become tough to find.

I ordered a custom fit hat that was a little too big. The size ordered was the exact custom 7 5/8 from another company, but yours didn't fit exact. I've ordered the Flex Fits instead for my current order.

High profile caps don't fit my head that well. They seem to arch up and make it look like a grape. I like the low-profile style of this hat and the simple black design. The only con is the color fades relatively quickly compared to most caps I own.

This hat is really durable and keeps it shape. I will probably wear it more in cooler temps which is what I anticipated when I bought it. I prefer an easy-fitted hat but this is a good mix of structure and profile.

I bought this hat a year or so age and it was top notch, no problem. so i decided to buy two more and it turns out that its not even the same, quality way below standard, not even the same company. its sad when you cant even buy a good cap these days. needless to say, i will never buy from you again and i will be returning the hat i bought.

This is a very ordinary value hat. Worth the price. I wish they offered a better quality cap for more money, but this one isn't bad. 80% Acrylic and only 20% wool. Its very water resistant and only marginally breathable. Will probably be a bit warm this summer. I measure at a 7-5/8 but usually end up getting a 7-3/4. I bought this cap in 7-3/4 and it is still pretty snug. Buy a size larger than what your head measures. I doubt the cap would fit at all if I bought my exact size. I purchased two of them: one plain and one with embroidery. The embroidery turned out very nice. [...]
