Great hat, I bought the hat one size too big, after learning from past experiences that these New Era hats shrink. I soaked mine for a minute and then threw it in the dryer. It fits great!

This hats crown is huge!!. I wear a 7 1/8 and this hat does not look like any of my other fitteds. It is a pain to shrink to my head size because its 100% polyester. I would pass on this one. Please new era bring back the wool hats with thee grey under brims.

terrible hat. i wanted a new red sox hat. i have franchise hat and it fits well. this new era hat's brim is so large. compare it to another fitted hat and you will see. it does not bend well either. this hat is almost made so you look like a wannabe thug with it on. it sits very high and large. the material prevents it from shrinking either.

would not buy this hat. would return it in a second. I am turned off the way these new hats are now. marketed to those with 40 hats that look ghetto. avoid it.

this was packed in the carton very bad!! I had to drive long way to a Lids store and showed them. They agreed and gave me one from the store. Whoever packed this cap did a real bad job as it was really out of round and did not fit or look good.

The Manager at the Solomon Pond Lids answered all of my questions & suggested that I order on line , as the hat was not available in the size I wanted in the store. She was extremely knowledgeable & made it a very pleasant experience.

I where the hat almost wherever i go, and its great! The only con is that on the front where the cloth mixes with solid stitching, the hard stitching pokes my head. mine may just have a default, but other than that, its a great hat

I really do not like the way this hat fits. Its way too deep. I have a normal sized 7 to 7 1/8 size head, and this hat comes down way past the tops of my ears. This hat would only fit a 45lb brain size head. I still dont know why they prop the front panel up ...If they would make different depths ...for each size, it would be great. Where can i buy the old wool ones ?

This hat is a must have for real fans. this is my favorite hat to wear, it's so comfortable! I bought this hat first, you've gotta be authentic before you can buy other designs. I have one other fashion Sox hat, but have ordered the new authentic hat as well.

I usually wear a 7 3/8 hat and it just felt too big. It was sittin right on my ears and didn't like that. I went with the 7 1/8 which was tight for the first week or too but once you get your sweat on and wear it around, it fits like a glove. Personally I don't like hats too big, or the shrunken hat look you get from shrinking a big hat. I reccomend buying it on the tighter side and breaking it in.

This is a great hat. The bill is flexible enough to curve it and keep it in one place. My only problem is that the hat is a little bigger than my normal 7 1/2 hats.

This hat is, overall, great. It has an amazing feel, and really shows off who you pull for. The one minor flaw is that it is not great to wear in extremely hot weather, because of the wool material. However, like I said, it is a great hat, and although it is realativly expensive for a hat, the[$]is definetly worth it!

I had the old New Era fitted MLB cap, all cotton and once worn in, it fit like a glove, your sweat getting into the fabric from the wear and tear, making the hat mold perfectly to your head (any one who has that one comfy, beat up hat knows what I'm talking about) anyways when I heard MLB came out with their new design of the on field fitted cap I had to check it out. I got my Red Sox one and it has been broken in nicely, feels just like the old hats. It's a great hat to just wear and show off team pride!

I am used to wearing the Twins Enterprise "franchise" cap and have liked the cotton comfort and casual style, but I was tempted to try the "official" on field cap. I know these 5950 caps are very popular with the hip-hop crowd, but that is not me. At first I thought it was too dorky looking, unless you are an actual player on the field, with the loud logo and stand-up front, but I've been won over by the comfort. It pulls down further on my head than the "franchise" and the bill will hold a nice curve. I like it, even if I do look dorky.

I use this hat as part of an outfit. I wear it all the time. It does everything a hat needs to do. The only *bad* thing i can think about it is that it gets hot under direct sunlight which may cause discomfort if your playing ball.

I wear this hat pretty much all day, Mainly it keeps my semi-long hair out of my eyes, it is the Red Sox which is a total plus and when I ordered it I guessed my size, but it was a perfect fit and it fits great. Some hats like cut off the blood to your head or something like that(just feels uncomfortable) but this hat I can wear all day and forget im wearing a hat.

I have owned many new era fitted hats over the last 10 years and this is the first time I have received one with a bill that was improperly fitted to the dome of the cap. The bill is shifted to one side and is visibly different from a normal cap.

Love this lid along with all the other authentic MLB caps! New Era has definitely achieved the pinnacle of success with the new poly construction caps. They fit and feel great, and have a nice mid crown opposed to the low pro or the high trucker caps of old. Keep 'em comin' folks at New Era and Lids. Good job!

When I recieved the hat it felt to big so I submerged it in water and let it go for a ride in the dryer. Now it fits PERFECTLY.
