The description of this shirt does not specify it is a "slim fit," but the tags say it is. I am 5'3" and 118 pounds (petite build) and a medium in this shirt is too snug. It is also 100% cotton. Had I known about the slim fit, I would have ordered a large. Material is very thin, too. So, if you order it, order up one size while also factoring in it will further shrink and plan to put a tank, etc under it. I'm going to give mine to my 9 year old.
