I bought this cleaner for my boyfriend he absolutely loves it. He had a white cap that had mud on it, dust etc. Used the cleaner and it was amazing! Worked perfectly.

The odor goes away, but is only masked for a short while.
I thought nothing would permanentlly remove the odor since it is created by bacteria that is sweated out out of the body. I didn't think it would work all that well. However, the deodorizing agent lasted a little longer than I originally thought.
This is just a temp fix for cleaning and deoderizing. The ball cap cleaner is the way to go, in a dishwasher, alone, w/ no dishes or deteregent. The water temp cannot be to hot nor should the unit be set on heated drying, as that will ruin any hat. I would recommend that after washing in the dishwasher, spraying with this cleaning agent to just refresh the hat with a nice scent: But Fabreeze works just as well.

This was a true cleaning agent I was a bit skeptical at first but this really works, I had a cap that sat for months accumulating dust and obviously my sweat from playing baseball in it I never cleaned it just a quick wipe. All that finally got to the cap. I saw this cleaner I bought simple instructions. MAN THIS REALLY WORKS!! my caps looks great like nothing happened and it smells clean. i recommend it to anyone with a dirty cap.
